Contact Us To Schedule a Consultation

At the Manchanda Law Offices PLLC, we believe it is important that our clients understand our commitment to the quality of our work. Part of this quality includes the methods we use to charge for our services.

We will provide you with well-trained and experienced Attorneys, competent secretarial and paralegal services, modern equipment, and regular case status updates and communication. We will always strive to focus on your problems with continuing personal attention and compassion in order to achieve the best possible result in the most reasonable time with the least cost to you, both emotionally and financially.

Abraham Lincoln said: "A lawyer's time and skill are his stock in trade." As it was in his day, we also base our legal fees on our skill and our time.

We usually begin our relationship with a free initial telephonic consultation. If we decide to pursue matters more in-depth, we will invite you to have a more formalized consultation with a small fee, either on the telephone or at our law office. If we decide that we can assist you, or if you have a solid case with which we can work, we will then negotiate a fee arrangement with you that will meet both of our needs. After your initial consultations, we may advise you not to proceed with your case or matter. If your case does require further work, however, we will discuss with you all arrangements necessary to undertake your case.

On some simple matters, we can quote you a fixed fee. In most situations, such as litigation, it may be difficult to fix a fee. In these cases the best we can do is to set a rough high and low estimate.

Part of our job is to ensure that you understand the risk involved in any legal matter. Part of this risk are the legal fees you must pay.

Our office follows a practice all good law firms follow. We request a reasonable retainer fee. This retainer fee is in the nature of a deposit that we use to pay for out-of-pocket expenses and our start-up fee. Most of our clients prefer to handle their legal matters on a pay-as-you-go basis. Thus, we will bill you on a regular basis for our professional services and expenditures.

Our monthly statement of account to you will give you a full description of the work done on your behalf. Our statement will show our out-of-pocket expenses as disbursements.

We encourage you to discuss with us, at any time, our fee arrangement, the progress of your case, and the details of any particular bill. We try to do what is fair and proper. We base our relationship with you on mutual confidence and respect. It is on this basis that we have established our reputation for a cordial and enduring relationship with our clients.

Contact us today to schedule a personal or telephone consultation with an attorney. We normally charge $200 for a forty five minute consultation session. Consultation fees will be credited to your account if you decide to retain our firm within 10 days of the consultation. After contacting us via electronic mail below and providing us with your detailed inquiry, one of our experienced Attorneys will contact you immediately to begin your scheduled consultation.
