What is a K3 Visa?

A K3 visa can be obtained by a non-immigrant that allows a foreign spouse to enter into the United States for the purposed of applying for an adjustment of status for permanent residence. Obtaining the K3 visa is a multi step process that includes a petition by the United State spouse to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services for an application by the foreign spouse to their local U.S. consulate. The purpose of this petition is to obtain the visa and interview. This interview aids the United States spouse in bringing their foreign spouse into the US. The immigration policies and laws are constantly changing. It is a good idea to consult the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services for the most up-to-date information.
